MEET THE TEAM
Owner
Cory Finnell
Both Cory has farming in their blood. Cory is from Brawley California, a small town in one of the largest agricultural regions in the United States, and his wife, Cora, grew up in the heart of the Willamette Valley. They were both taught early on to work hard, care for the land, and to respect other people. Cory studied Environmental and Resource Economics, and then had a 20+ year career in technology. Cora studied psychology, and then entered the wine industry for 15 years. Acquiring Legacy Landscaping allowed Cory to get back to what he loves– spending time outdoors, working with people, and getting his hands dirty. When not working, you can find them out with their 4 kids on Lake Washington, trying new restaurants, traveling, or pulling socks away from their dog, Woody.
Director of Landscape Design and Construction
Brian Taylor
Brian joined Legacy Landscaping as an industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience in landscape design and construction. The combination of his "hands-on" field experience and his degree in Landscape Design make him a great asset to the team. Prior to joining Legacy Landscaping, Brian led the landscape construction group at one of the region's largest landscape companies, where he focused on residential, commercial, and land development projects.
If he is not working, you can usually find Brian spending time with his wife and daughter, enjoying outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest.
